The Dilase technology, developed and patented by Kloé, consists in writing optical circuits by Laser Direct Writing in photosensitive hybrid optical layers. If the photosensitive layer is exposed to ultraviolet, the refractive index of the exposed zone is locally increased, and a waveguide is created.
This simple and flexible process allowed the design and launch of optical functions for sensors, medical and food industry instrumentation or broadband telecommunications fields.
